The Leo F. Rhode Papers consist of biographical information, newspaper clippings, and memorabilia concerning Leo F. Rhode. In his long career of public service, Rhode was, among other things, a member of the University of Alaska Board of Regents, Alaska state legislator, and mayor of Homer, Alaska. This small collection includes a number of certificates awarded to Rhode in recognition of his service and achievements; a photograph of the University of Alaska Board of Regents (1948); two group photos of the House of Representatives, Alaska State Legislature (1961 and 1978); a photograph of participants in a University of Alaska class picnic (1939); and several photographs of reunions of University of Alaska graduates (class of 1940).
